Just wanted to put up a post to see if anyone might be interested in a 'barn-find' that I came across in my home town (Eugene,Or). I was given a tour of a long-closed wrecking yard ,where the owner has passed away and the widow & daughter are selling off cars and parts. In one covered shed, i saw at least 5 or 6 complete ford flathead motors w/trans stacked in there . I know that a lot of LSR racers use these and parts are getting scarce, and it would be a shame to see them go to the crusher. The guy who was selling the stuff for the Ladies didn't really give me a price, but did indicate that either they get sold or scrapped, as he is tired of 'craigslist dumb-a**es' so if anyone is interested, you can give me a call at 541-935-2256 M-F 8-5 and I'll give you his info.
