Try scanning the UPC code on the side.

A buddy of mine sent this photo to me hoping someone could identify who built/ran it. He is looking to see if it has any historical significance.

Looks like a crude mockup to me.  It's seems REALLY short to fit any variety of XO engine.

But what do I know?

If this is a car I looked at over 15 years ago the body is not split. Very difficult to work on. I advised the buyer to pocket his money.

The steering arms look like the same chrome "Speedway" ones I'm running. DW, when did the XO designation come around?

It is a cool looking little guy.

I was running XX in '80. So I know XO came after that

XO first appeared when the Flathead guys complained that they needed their own engine classes, GMCs were too fast. Rich's XX class broke into the current XF and XO classes as listed in section 2.A.1 in the rule book.

I am guessing early 90s.

. . . and looking at an '83 Rule Book -- most probably before XO was invented -- it doesn't meet the roll bar requirements then in effect.

My guess -- a bar relic or field art.

Looks like someone's conversation piece.  Did this come from Tim Chambers?
