Marvin Lee "City of Pasadena" II
« on: January 22, 2015, 12:33:35 PM »
I'm looking for photos of the Marlin Lee streamliner "City of Pasadena" that ran and crashed at Bonneville in 1950. This is the car that was driven by "Puffy" Pufer and looked very similar to the So-Cal streamliner that was also there in 1950. This is not the earlier Marvin Lee car that looked like an airplane fuselage. Supposedly the car was close to 200mph when it 'took off'. I have a couple of shots from Hot Rod magazine, anything else would be greatly appreciated.

Try Jim Miller at the American Hot Rod Foundation (AHRF.com).

They will be at the GNRS this weekend.
