Recently there was discussion concerning these two words. I have the opportunity to fix it, can't find where the subject is located.

Help!

Dan, 'twas me -- pedantic SSS -- that made the "correction".  but I don't remember just now where I found the sin.  Worse -- i don't have a '14 Rulebook with me this moment, so I'll have to find the 'ship/-like thing and get back to you.  I hope to find it within the hour.

Ah -- that didn't take long.  Look here -- http://www.landracing.com/forum/index.php/topic,14711.msg267710.html#msg267710

Scroll down to my post #5 for my description of the difference between the two words.

I wouldn't be surprised if the two words are used interchangeably elsewhere in the Rulebook, but this is the one that started the discussion.  Thanks for asking.  Thanks very much. :-D :-D

However, as a number of dictionaries note, 'workmanlike' also carries the connotation of 'not in a particularly exciting or impressive manner'.

Change to "workmanlike" submitted. I don't know why I didn't look at the Should I enclose my rear wheel thread. Seems obvious now.

I think it should be ''engineered in a good workmanship manner''.

Having been in the building trades 40 yrs. Its always been good workmanship. Never heard workmanlike.

Just having a new house built, I decided on builder because of the good workmanship of all his subs.

When showing the house to friends they don't comment on the good workmanlike work.
