The BUB link on the homepage is blocked on my computer by McAfee as "unsafe."

Mike

The BUB racing web site is no longer active, if you use the link I posted above it will get you to the new BMST page.

Yep.  That mostly was for the web elf who just spent a bunch of time redoing the homepage.

I'm pretty sure that I had changed the Bub site link to the BMST link last year.  Does anybody remember for absolutely sure that it was, indeed, the correct link?  Whatever - expect the page to be somewhat farkled 'til Bob gets done fiddlin' with it.  I'll let you know when he's done and then ask for any trouble reports.  Thankee, thankee.

Go to Google, Yahoo, Yippee, Woopee, or whatever your preference,
and type in the following words......
"Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials", and presto there you have it.

the link is still wrong on this forums homepage.  It still directs you to: http://www.speedtrialsbybub.com which is no longer valid.

Where on the Forum homepage do you see a link that's wrong?  I don't think I know where it is.  I'll fix it pronto as soon as I can see it.  Maybe it'll be best for you to send me a link that'll take me directly to that page.  Thanks.

You have BUB Trials and not BMST, 10th organization down, in the left-hand column.

Do you need a picture?

Jon, There are 2 old links. The 1st one is on the left side of the home page called Bub Trials. The second one is in the forums and is the 1st entry under the BMSTrials Contact Info - BUB Web Site Info for 2013.

Okay -- now I see the problem.  The "Bub" link is not on the Forum home page -- but rather the entire website's home page.  As I told Linnea just this morning -- I'm pretty sure that the link was changed back last summer.  But since Bob has been working over the home page of the site during thae past week or two -- the old one may have popped up again.  We'll make it go away, really.

As for the other one, Gregg -- I see what you're saying so I locked it.  But also please note that it is clearly showing the year.  And a couple of topics down there's information about the BMST for 2014.  It does have all of the current/correct information.  I suppose I could make the entire '13 one disappear, but I would hope that a casual surfer/reader would note the date and look for something more current.

Thanks for the help.  Website home page and not Forum home page.  Maybe it's a technical point -- but with lots of little technical things flitting through my head -- I need to have all the help I can get to go to the right place.

PS:  Just as I was to post my comments -- this came in from Bob.

"I changed all the BUB references long ago, but now I finally put up an upgrade to the basic Landracing.com pages that had been waiting in the wings for way too long... and it has some of the old stuff on it.  I'll get it brought up to where it should be asap.  The bad reference has been up for about a week.

Thanks,
Bob the Web Elf"
