Besides Vincents, the Triumph engines are the most suitable of the British vertical twins for LSR. The cams can be timed independently, they sit high in the crankcase to minimize push rod length and mass, and the cam/pusrod/rocker geometry is the most optimal for high rpm. In addition, virtually everything, including crankcases is available. This includes all sorts of performance parts.
