Modified Production ( M ) class clarification
« on: November 28, 2014, 09:41:50 AM »
I wish to get clarification on wording relating to an acceptable frame for the Modified Production  (M ) class. I question wether I can use a reproduction frame in this class. The language uses terms O.E.M and  limited production and road racing with less than 500 in production available to the public.

The production frames may include the factory produced variants of model............but not those very few and special frames made for the 'factory' race team.

You can generally mod or replace the frame components outside of the motor 'box'.

I have a modified seat 'hoop' and a swing-arm from a completely different bike...........all good through tech. I also understand you could use the frame from a different model to hold your motor..........but it has to be the same brand.
