Brother Lou at Bonnevillestories.com has just released another great story. Dan Parker the first blind land speed racer at Bonneville. Talk about an inspiration !

Dan and his crew were in our que.  It was very comforting to see the effort fullfilled :cheers:  I kept thinking about how much confidence he needed and much TRUST he had in everyone that helped him. That was truly a TEAM effort. :-) :-) :-) :-)

I've followed drag racing for many years and have heard Dan's name in the past.  When I first heard of this story last year I was curious if it was the same person or not.  This is truly an inspirational story, and a wonderful interview.  My wife isn't into cars, bikes or racing, AT ALL, and even she thought this was a very cool heart warming story.

Congrats to Dan and his team for accomplishing the unthinkable!!!!!     :cheers:
