Interesting.  I see that the topic has been viewed 2100 or so times.  I'd like to think that there'll be lots of folks that have at least heard of the Club.  The poll should show something to us.  But then -- what'll we do with the information gained from the poll?

I think the concept is great, if you've got the spare cash, why not!

The logo is not bad, but Salt (Sodium Chloride) is NaCl, not just Sodium! (Na) So the reference to atomic number 11 etc., whilst all very 'breaking bad etc. is a little off, try 28!!

Thanks, Grumm.  I saw that and let it go, but since you brought it up -- NaCl is pretty stable -- to the point that we can use it to smother an over fire and eat it and drive on it.  But then there's pure sodium (the stuff that wears that 11 atomic number).  (Sodium)...reacts exothermically with water, to the point that sufficiently large pieces melt to a sphere and may explode; this reaction produces caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) and flammable hydrogen gas.  Nope.  I don't want to drive on pure sodium or eat it (maybe THAT'S where farts originate. . . ).

Do you think, however, that you or I can convince the Bonneville Club proponents to change their website's home page?
