El Mirage Start Times (?)
« on: October 25, 2014, 02:35:32 PM »
Hello,

I'm planning to go to the November 9th event. As I've never been there, what would be the suggested time to go to get the best spectator viewing/parking location?

Thanks...

Early Saturday morning or Friday afternoon as it's a two day meet. The tower side is the best as 90% of the wind is to your back. You will need a CB to hear the speeds.

We'll "hopefully" start running by 8am-ish on Saturday and Sunday, Its an open desert so there will be plenty of parking and locations to watch em run! And the FM station is 88.7.
