Altered Class Clarification
« on: October 14, 2014, 11:23:24 AM »
I am in the process of updating my car ('80 Pontiac Sunbird, Monza clone) for LSR.  My question is in regards to section 5D which states: "This category encompasses American and foreign coupes and sedans and unaltered in height, width or contour, and with all stock panels mounted in original relationship to each other."
My reading of this sentence is that everything in it refers to the body only, specifically, the 'unaltered in height' portion.  I assume this means that no chopping or sectioning of the body is allowed.
I would like to set the ride height of the car as low as possible and I would like to know if this rule pertains to ride height or as I read it, the body only.  Are there any restrictions on ride height in the Altered classes?
Thanks

As far as that goes, there's no restriction in production classes, either -
