Trailers at Wilmington
« on: September 30, 2014, 12:39:12 PM »
Many of us arrive to race with trailer in tow. Occasionally stuff happens to trailers along the way that need some work. This trip a suspect axle on mine decided to finally declare itself broken about 10 miles out from the track. Some research led us to Custom Cabs and Trailers in Jamesville which is the other side of I-71 from Wilmington about 20 miles away. We parked the trailer Sunday afternoon and arrived at the Shop about 745 Monday morning to a super friendly welcome, what can I do for you? Please fix my 3 legged trailer (we had to pull the wheel and drive about 10 miles on 3). They got right on it, made repairs that took about 2 hours, charged a very fair price and we got home safely Monday night. Just want to say thanks to them and bring to the attention of any racer who may need some trailer work local to the track. Is a big shop and should be able to handle nearly anything

Isn't it wonderful when you find yourself in trouble out on the road and you then discover a place that really understands "customer service"? I can only hope those of us that do custom and specialty work can offer the same sort of service when it is needed.  :-D :-D :-D
