Block vs cubed ice in Wendover?

The truck stop next to "Bend in Road"  only sells cubed ice.  And those cubes are relatively "warm".

Is there any place in Wendover that sells 'good'  block ice suitable for an ice chest?

If yes, could you please give me detailed directions to that store.......I've NEVER  been in Wendover.

Smith's grocery store is all the way west on the edge of Wendover; they also sell ice cubes. Guaranteed not over 32F   :-D

on mondays wed and fri the truck stop has the cold ice cubes...

IIRC, weren't they selling ice from a trailer on the salt?  Block and cubed?

The Aussies must be laughing their arses off -- listening to moaning about the ice at the truck stop (5 miles away) ain't cold enuf.

Agreed! Never had an issue with Ice since I started going in 02. Other than the faulty shit melts after a couple days!
