Yeah, and that's how we collect cool glasses from bars and clubs, too.  But - I wear cotton socks.  I can see where burnt woolen sox might make for an unhappy moment or two in the shop.

Cotton socks Fiat my feet up.  They'll be cracking and bleeding inside of a week.  Never have that problem with wool.  I have no idea what's up with that.  I just wish wool socks weren't so damn expensive.

I won't make the chat tonight. I hope there's a good turnout. If you're not chatting your missing out on meeting and talking to a lot of great people.

Rob, I gotta ask something.  If you're sanding sheetrock that's on the ceiling but you're in Australia when you're doing it -- don't you have to kinda stand on the ceiling, which'd be the floor, right, and sand where you're walking?

You are upside down there, right?

Hey Slim,

Does a bear sh.. oh wait, wrong dilemma.  :-o

I guess it all depends upon your point of view :-D, regardless, you still cop a dusting... none of that fancy vacuum long pole electric stuff here, just elbow grease and sand paper thanks.

There is definitely something to sprayed finishes there vs smooth here when it comes to finishing. I spoke to a sheet rocker in Az when I was there a couple of years ago and he was horrified by what he called "smooth wall".

In other news, I got on late but chat was good with the usual suspects inflated with one or two newer recruits. Joe fell asleep at the keyboard, PJ had to leave early and so it went.

Cheers,
Rob

I've done sheetrock more than enough times.  And since I'm tall I get the upper and ceiling surfaces.  And I'm just able enough that I start kind of poorly - but by the time the job is completed I'm all the way back to not too bad.

Nah, I'll leave you in your (own) dust.
