150 down, 160 return on an open record.  Two minute (!!) turnaround.  The record was open because it's the first battery-only vehicle to run.  I didn't hear anything about further runs.

From Mike Cook Shootout FB site :

The Venturi backed Buckeye Bullet electric streamliner is on the salt for a private FIA record attempt hosted by Cook's Landspeed Events and sanctioning through the FIA and USAC. In early shakedown runs yesterday the vehicle has already established one category speed record, but the team is not releasing details yet pending further runs today and tomorrow. The salt condition is good and the weather is sunny. We have 8-plus miles of good salt. Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials officials are prepping their course adjacent to Cook,s course for their upcoming event and we are sharing resources. A computer failure kept us from posting yesterday, but we're all good now.

Shootout FB page:

Thursday 8/21, 9:00am
Course is in good condition. Spitting a few raindrops with light wind. Current plan is to make the first run about 11:00am if wind cooperates. With the cooperation of the BLM, the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials crew and the event insurance company Land Speed Events has extended the event through noon Friday to give the Venturi Buckeye Bullet team evey opportunity to set another record.

Jon, I think the record was open because the FIA introduced a whole new set of weight categories in 2013.  So there are something like 6 or 7 open records available, taking into account reassigning existing records into the new categories.

If the VBB-3 team wanted to, they could play games with removing battery cells/adding ballast to claim most of those open records.
