Miller Weld tent at WOS

To All,

We will be bringing the Miller Weld tent along to WOS for anyone who needs welding for the event.

We ask that anyone who can throw some consumables, Gas, extra aluminum or steel if room in your hauler please do to share if people need it.

All donations will be given to Save the Salt or Wounded Warriors as they are why we are able to do what we all love to do.

I will have a printout of where people can send the thank you e-mail or card to the folks at Miller who set this up.

I want to thank you guys for the use of the MIG welder...
Rick, who's been driving his white 1969 VW bug out to the salt from Wyoming a couple times a year to volunteer crew on whomever needs/asks for his help, had this issue. He broke the cross bar on the driver's side seat of his trusty steed, which keeps the seat back in the upright position, was faced with the prospect of driving 500miles home either fully reclined, or a 5 gallon bucket propping up his seat back.

We removed the broken seat, removed it's upholstery, prepped the area with the provided grinder, and welded that rascal solidly in place again, better than the factory ever thought of thanks to the fine Miller Welding equipment offered up.

I saw you working on that and wondered what it was for. Sorry we didnt have time to talk but glad it worked out for you. ITs not fun driving on a bucket.

Thanks to the use of the MIG welder, our chain guard stayed in one piece.

We re-welded the mounting tabs to make them more secure.

Even when they could not weld our cracked  seam in the fuel tank the 2 pack sealer they were able to supply worked great
