Trikes at Bubbs
« on: August 15, 2014, 08:58:53 AM »
Does anyone have any pictures of reverse trikes running at Bubbs?  These would be configured to have two wheels in the front and one in the back.

What phone book?  How 'bout asking Superman to look for one while he's changing outfits?

Hey Slim why not head east and attend Loring in two weeks?

That's a fair question - and here's why I can't go to Loring, much as I'd like to do so.

We're working at the Marquette Area Bluesfest the weekend of 29 August - 1 September.  And once that's done I leave almost immediately for Bonneville for the WoS & Shootout.  I won't be back home for about two weeks.

If the salt is deemed unusable for racing I might well reconsider -- but the salt conditions won't be known for a few days or so.

Here is a link to the book and the reverse trike is on page 22. If you need more images to look at let me know and I will dig them out for you.

Here is a link. Just click on "Preview" and you can see the whole book, page by page.

I didn't dig through to follow and find the reverse trike - but how about the Canam three wheeler?  It would run, assuming no mods, in the Production class.  Well more than 500 have been made, and they're for sale to the general public.  If I ever get some more money together I'd consider trading the Gold Wing for a Canam.  Do any of you know if one has presented at Bville for running, and, if so, how it did and in what class?

In 2012 I remember a guy racing a CanAm Spyder. Don't remember if he was in the record runs or RWB.
