Non Standard piston Rings

For future reference, it's often easier and quicker to get custom pistons cut to an existing ring pack than to go the other way around.  :wink:

I'm reasonably sure that the bore on my brand new block was decided on based on ring pack availability.

What they need is a book listing by specifications only. My Bow tie needed a clean up bore. No CHEVY rings for a 4.390 bore. Ford 460 ci oversize rings are that size. Problem solved.

Provided your ring thickness isn't odd, or that your pistons couldn't be recut to accept them, this lists their ring packs by diameter -
