Racepak seminar on the salt
« on: July 30, 2014, 01:15:57 PM »
Hey, folks --listen up!  I've been talking with Donny Cummins.  He and his company want to offer a seminar on Racepak & MSD. It's still being planned but getting more and more likely to happen.  As of right now he's thinking of offering it Saturday eveningabout6 or so-- so it'll have to end when the pits are closed at 8. It'll be him talking and all of us asking questions.  While yes, he does have a vested interest in his products, it'll have something for everyone who's got an ignition system of data to monitor.

The only thing wrong with the arrangement is that it'll interfere with the unofficial car show at the  Nugget parking lot.  So attend the seminar and go see the cars after 8.  there -- that was simple, wasn't it.  And  by the further way -- I'm making arrangements to record the whole thing so we can archive it on this website- so you can  listen to  it at any time. :-D :-D

With so many people with such great knowledge and expertise about LSR at the salt at one time I think seminars are a wonderful idea.

A safety seminar about chutes, head and neck devices, fire systems etc....?

Maybe Friday night in the tech inspection area before we run?

Just an idea.

If you can't race it or take it to bed - it ain't worth having.

I' ve got a release from Donny on the machine at the store.  will get it up here (someplace) later this morning.

Chris/Milwaukee Midget will be bringing some equipment so we can record the seminar for the archives.  Donny is looking forward to being ensconced for all time (or 'til the internet fades away) on landracing.com.
