Update. We (Flashpoint) went 341.  Computer shows Bob shut it off at 355.  Was a good weekend and a real warm up for Speedweek. Many thanks to the hard working folks who made this test-n-tune possible.
It's time to stop reading about history and start creating it

Rex- Who was that guy with the red car? Not a new car. Around 30 years old. Ran a 382 last year at speed week. Second fast car there. But lacks the Gee Wizz factor I guess. Dalton Jackson Mayer A/BFS

They have a front wing on the car now that I think is new.  In the picture the nose isn't on the car.  It was the most awesome sounding car of the meet at the 3 (well the whole course for that matter  :-D )

The above was written immediately after a straight 10.5 hour drive back from Bonneville towing Bob's fuel and parts trailer. My observations: Marlo's car, despite all that has been posted here, cannot be described. You must see it. I don't know how long it will take to get everything sorted out. But what an achievement to just to get this far. I think maybe the Danny Thompson car could have been top speed car this weekend, but they didn't want to. looked to me as they simply wanted to get a pass on the car to further feel it out. And then settled down to photo opps. It looked and sounded really strong and will hopefully cut some really big numbers at Speedweek. The Carbonliner is interesting. But Bob's car was designed and built by Bob and family and friends. The tech and power end seems to be Jackson and Mayer with an a lot of help from G Man and others. And this weekend they made the fastest pass and that is what it's about. Yes the picture I posted was from last year without the new front wing and with the rubber tires and nose required for clearance for them.

Man this is great stuff!! Thanx to everyone who contributed! I was at the SCTA "load party" yesterday helping get all the trailers packed and readied for Speedweek and I left there just stoked that SW is a mere 3 1/2 weeks away. Then I come into work and read all this...I can taste the Salt already!!
