2014 Speedweek Entry list
« on: July 10, 2014, 11:26:28 AM »
In past years some very nice person made a list of the entry's sorted by class with the record speed.

I know it is very time consuming and lots of work but it is so helpful.

I print the SCTA list ( by car number ) and the one by class and take with me to the salt.

It makes it so much easier to find out who is there and check on how they are doing.

I would be happy to buy that person breakfast or lunch any day at the salt.

If you can't race it or take it to bed - it ain't worth having.

I've been making that list the past 8 or 10 years.  Now it even has a picture of most of the entries.  It's sorted by class, just like the Rule Book, and shows the entries in each class, lists the driver(s), owner(s) crew chief, crew and sponsors.  It has the record in that particular class and who set it and when, right with each entry.  It's called the SpeedWeek Program and is available at a sales trailer in the inspection area.

Stan, I always get a program. I keep it neat and clean and bring it home to keep with the others I have (23).
What I was asking about was a list that I print out.

I can carry it around to highlite people or cars I want to meet, Where their pit is etc...

The SCTA website one is good if you are looking up a car by number. The one I printed off this forum last couple years is sorted by class. Each is only 3 or 4 pages long and easy to find the info I want. Much faster than looking through the program.

I was just hoping the same person was going to make the list this year.

Gregg sent me one -- but it didn't have the record speeds on it (?) as the mystery one does.

Anyone know anything about the 857 car-Greg Gilbert, Ed Irving ?
