Wed the 16th. NO tube in southern IL yet.
Last year it was heavily damaged.
I wonder if it was totaly destroyed this year?
Some postal machine must not like the tubes.

Wow, down hear in the dog leg of the US... South Florida , notice I said leg. Just got my tube 7 days after the first folks got theirs. It pays to be close to California.

I really like the poster this year. A nice clean design.

The long tube has made it to Southern Arizona. Only a poster and membership card, though.

Thanks.

I was at the Skandia post office this morning when Marty, our route driver, evidently heard my voice.  from the back, where he was sorting the  mail, I heard him shout "Hey, is that Slim Wennerberg I hear up front?"  I said "yes" and he said "I've got something you were waiting for - and I know it's important.  it mu9st be -- it's from the SCTA!"

Yes, it was the tubes, and I haven't opened them to see if all is in there.  As for Marty knowing about SCTA -- he wears the t-shirts that I bring for him each year and knows about  LSR more than most mailmen do.
