Note to toclub and EVERYONE else going to SpeedWeek:

I do, I do.  but -- while you can call Trevor -- you're also welcome to get in touch with the SCTA/BNI volunteer that's known as the Potentate of Porta Potties.  That's me.  Drop a line - PM or email - and tell me what it is that you want.  I'll get the information to Trevor and then he brings yours and all of the others to the salt Wednesday before SpeedWeek begins.  You get to then visit the Seldom Seen Slim pit to fetch yours.

Toilets rent for a base charge, good for the entire event, plus a charge for each time you want it "serviced".  I've got those prices somewhere around here, I know.  by the way, there are ADA/"handicapper" toilets available, too, and also hand washing sinks.  Tell me if you're interested in either of those, too.

Jon -

Put Kate down for one.

I don't really care either way, but the personal porta potty has now become the benchmark for Mrs. Midget.

She doesn't really ask a lot, and last year's fine fiberglass facilities were a welcome site to her - a simple gesture of my love for her.

I'm just glad I didn't order up a hot tub.

Well, I guess we're making a LOT of progress . . .

Here you go - the 2014 rates for porta-potties and the other stuff from Honey Bucket.  To reserve one you'll need to call Trevor Inman* at Honey Buckets and give him the information including a credit card number.

* Trevor's phone number:  801-330-7219

Regular Honey Bucket                   $120
Double sink                                        $140
Oversized Honey Bucket              $225
ADA Compliant Honey Bucket    $295

These rental rates include a lock.  The lock is available so you can have your toilet remain yours and not for everyone anyplace near you and all of the spectators that wander the pits and so on.  You don't have to use it - but you may if you wish to do so.

$23 per service and we do it at night.

There you go.  Reserve yours with Trevor - and we'll see you on the salt.

Further suggestions for the teams getting a toilet for their own pit:

We've made up a few laminated cards that say "Private Rental".  These are for affixing to the door of your porta-potty to cut down on the number of people that'll walk to your pit and then wonder why you tell them that it's not for public use.  Trust me -- without a sign of some type -- you'll have lots of folks pestering you and then, when they hear you say "It's private" they'll get grumpy.  I've had it happen way too many times.

So - we've got three or four of the signs and suggest that you make one for your toilet to keep it private if that's how you want it.  Each of the private units has a padlock & key available (ask me when you pick up you toilet at the SSS pit). so you can lock it - no big deal.  But the sign makes it that much easier to keep your private place - PRIVATE!

Hey, Steve:  We've got 5 "ladies only" signs now.  Is that enough - or do you think you need more?

This is exciting!.   Now if they could only deliver portable showers, we'd never leave the pit!  :-)
