Buick V6 Stage II bearings HELP !

Involved in the rebuild process of a Buick V6 race Stage 2 engine, has big issues locating main bearings for this engine..date on these bearing is from 1994...

 Clevite 77 used to have a H series for them ( current MS -960 set or FedMogul 7144) but so far I've only located P series bearings. King and ACL, same ...MAHLE don't even list anything for them that I've seen..

Anyone still using these engines might have come across the issue ? Still have a few customer engines ranging from 3.2L (1), 3.8L (2 of them), my personal 4.5, and a customer's 4.8L, so it's not going to go away any time soon for me...

RVJ - You might contact Kenny Duttweiler (Duttweiler Performance) who has extensive Buick V-6 engine building experience.

I found one H set on ebay, other than that all the new ones are P series.  P's are harder, less compliant bearings.  Good luck with your quest.

Will check on all options, will need more than one this time. Maj sent a link for ACL bearings that show them to be still on production under Holden VN V6 down under, so, all replies apply !...

Edit: Just in case, I got a set via ebay from street-autoparts in Sidney. The set # 4SM2222HX is what the engine calls for; same as a F-Mogul 7144 or Clevite MB 960, but in the real ACL race series.

Was planning on Bonneville, but since Bertil's passing, I've decided against...

  Also, try the GSCA. The Buick Gs Club of America. You will get what you need there. Lots of knowledge on their site. As well as the one suggested. T/A Performance.
