In the past I've made a mount of two to mount a TPS to the end of the carbs bell crank. Last year that wasn't a very good option for Hooley's Stude so I made up a remote mount on the spur of the moment while we were working and trying to get on our way to Speed Week.
That mount is shown above and attaches to the carb linkage...
...via a cable as shown above. It worked fine and we will stay with it but I Sparky needed a remote TPS mount so I came up with 2 more verisions that are more compact.
The one above I call the 'Tall Mount' and the...
...other the 'Short Mount'. Both are pretty much the same. The arm for the cable now becomes the largest component and once mounted and hooked up and with the travel determined probably about 1/2 of the arm can be cut off.
