Q: Winters QC lubrication
« on: May 26, 2014, 04:56:49 AM »
We have started to assemble our TFA lakester and i saw a piece of blue tape on our Winters QC;  "NO LUBE"

There is probably a topic on this site, but it is resisting my efforts to search it out.
A Winters site didn't help me, hmmmmmm...

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what lube we should use?

thanks,
TFA Racing

Good Morning Karl,
Winters recommends their 80/90 gear lube with Moly semi-synthetic or Mobil 1...see page 95 of the Closed tube Catalog. Also read the break-In procedure...you have a Rem'ed R&P so 20 miles is not needed.
