LSR Busa for sale
« on: May 05, 2014, 04:14:12 PM »
2004 Hayabusa for sale. Bought from Larry Forstall and ran it a couple runs at Bubs before the season was rained out and some runs at Mojave. Bike is a beast.
1630 motor, APE roller timing chain, APE head studs, ported heads, big cams, o-ringed head, just had head off and checked all valve clearances, new Cometic head gasket. Here is info I got from Larry when I bought it.
It has a TTS 10.5 crank with TTS steel rods  84x73.5. Flat top  CP pistons. I would guess the CR is about 15-1 (Never measured it.). Stock valves .425 intake cam. Steve tuned it on ERC 110, it made 258 HP  Torque 148. I gave the dyno sheet to Jack, I think the AF was about 12.8 Bike does not have data logging. just a power commander. It would get someone in the 2 club as they only have to run 201. It has S2000 injectors I bought new. Also an air shifter. The engine also holds the APS/G 1650 record and has gone 229 one-way without a long tail. I have had the frame for 10+ years bought as a salvage. I have always used it as a race bike and can't find the paperwork. You can check the Vin but I would have to sell it with a Bill of Sale.
Cold cranking comp was 270! 24 volt starting system and just added a Tiger Racing charging harness and 2 new batteries, changed from older PC to ECU Editor and tuned it, made 260 on my dyno. New SCTA legal tires, extended swingarm with extra lead added.Jet Hot coated the headers, just redid front forks, and full stock bodywork added.
Greg and I buying another bike so it has to go. Figure I have about $9000.00 in it now. 707 548-7906

Bonneville 2001,2002,2003,2004,and NO stinking 2005,DLRA 2006, next?
Well, sure can't complain about 2008--6 records over 200 and 5 hats from Bonneville,Bubs, and El Mirage for the team!

Yup, ran there naked at the rain shortened Bubs last year. Got 3 teething runs adding weight and juggling gearing etc, all around 196.Added brackets to swingarm for more weight.
