To help sell it, this information might help.  Are the cases coated?  What are the ratios?  The input spline tooth count?  Are the case bearings coated?   Hope this helps.  Mike

Richard, This is air shifted and includes the air shift logic module and the air tank and regulator.

The cases and the case bearings are not coated, gear ratios are 1st 2.18, 2nd 2.07, 3rd 1.52. 4th 1.21 and 5th 1.1.  The input shaft is 18 spline.

That's just what I want.

Tony, can the 5th gear be swapped out for a higher ratio, for example .5:1?.

Not sure you'd want to switch 5th for peak speed.  You should do it at axle.  Notice how low the RPM drops on the 4-5.  This is what you want.
This is a chart with MT 30" s and a 2.5 Ford 9":

Code: [Select]
Jerico
Axle Tire Dia RPM RPM drop
2.5 30 1000 1500 2000 2500 3000 3500 4000 4500 5000 5500 6000 6500 7000 at 7000
Gear G1 2.18 16.4 24.6 32.8 40.9 49.1 57.3 65.5 73.7 81.9 90.1 98.3 106.4 114.6 shift
G2 2.07 17.2 25.9 34.5 43.1 51.7 60.4 69.0 77.6 86.2 94.9 103.5 112.1 120.7 6646.8

G4 1.21 29.5 44.3 59.0 73.8 88.5 103.3 118.0 132.8 147.5 162.3 177.0 191.8 206.5 5572.4

Ratio MPH

Although I WOULD change out 1st unless that was typo.  Here's a 3.18 first.  Probably a typo.

If some potential buyer wants a specific chart for their RPM and top speed, post a request.

Do you know what the input drive set is?  there are hundreds of different ratios for this trans.  some are not even shown on the web site.  This is a great transmission used by many top teams.  Mike

Mike, Only 1.1 fifth gear is available for the air shifted 5 speed.

Is this an RR5 or DR5 box?

Its a  DR5 box.

Mike, I don't know the number of the drive set, but if you are really interested I can open the trans and check the gears and ask Jerico, and as Mike pointed out there are a lot of gears available than whats listed. Tony

....Mike, Only 1.1 fifth gear is available for the air shifted 5 speed...

Are you saying 1.1 to 1 or 1 to 1 (1:1)?  It looks like 5th is 1:1 according to the chart (if it is the right one)....

http://www.jericoperformance.com/downloads/5_speed_ratio.pdf

.... there is a slight overdrive option for 4th but with the air shifter it probably can't select it and then go back to 5th for the 1 to 1.

Looks like a great transmission if one also could run the Winters LSR quick change with it if you were running high speeds.

How much are the gear sets?  Can you find used sets fairly easily?

Sum

Don't want to burst the bubble but I can both single or doube overdrive this transmission.  Your right that one of the gears has to be 1 to 1 but from then on any thing goes.  For example a useable set would be  1:85, 1:40, 1:23, 1-1, and 5th of .92-1.   Hope this helps  Mike

Hi again:  Tony I am a Jerico dealer and have been working with them for many years.  I have quite a few Jercios on the salt from 3 to 5 speed units both manual and air shifted.  What I'm trying to do is help you ID it so you can sell it.  Hope this helps  Mike
