Feels good to be back on the forum, it`s been a while. Just a quick history - Laguna Hills HS 3 years ago wanted to build a LSR a car. After a huge outpouring of support from this forum we got squashed by the "L" word - liability. The desire never went away and we recently received a `81 Datsun 280zx, gutted, with a turbo engine and a 6 speed chevy trans mated to it. Still have a lot the friends who chimed in on the old build. This car was intended to run on the salt and El Mirage then shelved. This is a huge undertaking for us and will take time and money - first thing this is definitely a stealth build. What they don`t know won`t hurt them-right? Will touch base from time to time, we have another "legal" build going on right now which is a priority at this time. I`ll be at the El Mirage meet, see you there.
