Being from Michigan, I had no idea that KG`s came with a floor and rocker panels... :cheers:  Nice build.

LOL. Im not sure if they have two different cars or just switch between the aero body pictured and the standard body. I had the chance to talk to Garrett here in town a couple of months ago at the drags. Nice guy. I think I surpised him by talking about LSR stuff instead of drag racing.

Maybe just the angles I am looking at but it looks like an awful tight squeeze to get a helmet between the seat and the A-pillar bar.  Did you do some test entries/exits?

It might be the angle in these last pictures. I did do a few entries and exits. It is going to take some practice and getting the sequence down, but it is not too bad. I am going to need to install a removable steering wheel for sure

I towed the car down to El Mirage last weekend to make sure what I have done so far looks good.  The tech inspectors said everything looks good and to keep up the good work.  Still lots to do.  I'll try to remember to keep this updated with pictures.

I was planning to do a window net from the bars up and welding in tabs and using sheet metal to fill all of the other gaps in the cage.  After looking at it I decided that a full door net would work and save me some labor and welding time.  I made up a pattern and sent it to Stroud.  6 days later and my net is back in the mail headed my direction!
