I found this pic taken at our "Bonneville", Hakskeen Pan.

Two Mustangs.

One is rare and I didn't even know we had a P51D here but it might be a 3/4 scale.

The other spat it's drive shaft out the back. So much for safety!!! :-o

Monstang???? :-D :-D :-D

Yeah your P-51 is lookin a bit small or you have really big pilots down there. :-D
Is this a sanctioned meet or a gathering of crazies?

I wouldn't call them crazies, rather wannabees.

Pay you entry fee, do a sobriety test and run whatcha brung.

Non sanctioned and run by entrepreneurs.

DUI is almost as popular as shooting girls through bathroom doors or is it the other way around. :-D

As for the pilots, they be big so that replica P51 must battle a bit.

The pic of the driveshaft coming out the back reminds me of when I was bracket racing my altered against a Pinto wagon and was wondering why he was backing into me so early in the run. Right about that time I saw a torpedo coming out the rear of the car. Apparently he had spilt his driveshaft out. Oops lol

Frankie, that's scary man.

I found this car for sale on Racingjunk.

I doubt it would have that problem.

Top class build IMO.
