shifter question

factory shifters won't pass tech?

The inspection form says all automatics must have reverse lockout.

If you have to push a button to put it in reverse it has reverse lock out. (ie stock shifter funticon)

The reverse lockout is an important item. If upon crossing the finish line you decide to shift to neutral during shutting down you need a way to be sure the reverse position is not engaged. Also the possibility of down shifting if the neutral position is missed is another concern. Locking up the rear tires at speed is not fun I know from experience.   :cheers:

The stock toyota shifter button has definately been disabled.

Anyone in Ohio have a gm 4 speed automatic shifter they are not using?

go to any junk yard and get a v6 camaro shifter.  Dime a Dozen.
