Speedweek entry form Automatically copying field data
« on: April 05, 2014, 03:46:45 AM »
Has anyone else had issues filling in the 2014 Sw entry form within acrobat reader.  Every time I try to enter data for the Bike it copies to the car side.  The same happens when I enter crew members and sponsors after the first entry they aoto copy down the page.  if you then change them it changes all of them.  Tried different browsers and saving it to my PC then opeing it, same error.  Guess I need to use a pen this year.

I started filling mine out, no issues with it.  Filled most of it online, then saved to gather info, opened the saved one and kept going.

FrInj, if nothing else -- Stan Back on here should be able to help you when you still can't make it work.  I don't know his Saturday schedule, but assuming he's at the Senior Citizen's center for a morning game of Scrabble with a side of oatmeal, it might be a little while before he checks in.  Be patient - he's about ready to move into the center and isn't quite as responsive as he was back in the 1940's.

It's doing the same for me.  I'll try to get the powers that be to fix it.

In the mean time, try this one . . .

It worked for Stainless on his PC, is this a MAC issue?

Was he entering car info or bike info?

If worse comes to worst, fill out what you can on your computer, print it out (which you gotta do anyway) and fill in the rest by hand.  Try not to use chalk or grease pencils.  Or maybe try the one I posted above -- it may work better.

This issue was brought up at the SCTA board meeting Friday night. It is being addressed this weekend.

If it don't work okay -- try the one I posted here earlier.  Or if it doesn't, fill in both fields, cross one off, and send it in.  Or leave those two fields blank, print it out, and fill one in by hand.

Yaknow -- we used to have to fill it all in by hand -- deal with it.

If I can't figure it out -- I'll call you.

I see that the SCTA has posted a revised form on their website.  Try that one.  And look at the red box.
