Ceramic wheel bearings, motorcycle
« on: April 01, 2014, 11:47:22 AM »
I bought some ceramic bearings from a recommended shop for my bike last year from Worldwide bearings.  They were awesome. If you have thought about doing this do not hesitate.

Do you grease them and run grease seals?

I had to go to hybrid ceramic bearings to support my crank & blower shaft extension shaft supports due to the difficulty controlling pressure fed oil when using bushes/seals.
The hybrid bearings spin to 15000 rpm using only the oil retained by their seals, I re-lube them regularly using oil purchased just for that purpose & they are still doing well.
