For what it's worth, Jack is actually Bill. And today i saw a good piece on "How It's Made" about making Prunes at Mariani  Farms. Nothing about 'Liners or roadsters though.

That is a famous English drag bike, the Yellow Peril.  There were a few of those things with different colors and some were radical for their day.  Triumph powered.
