Hotel Rooms for BUB/AMA 2014

I just booked my rooms for the Speed Trials.  For some reason, you cannot book online at the Rainbow or the Peppermill at this time, but I was able to call and make reservations at the Peppermill.  I could not book a room at the Rainbow even with the phone call, but no explanation was given.  The cost was $99 for Friday night, the 22nd, $109 for Saturday, and $49 per night thereafter for the old section.  That compares favorably with anything I could fine online for other hotels/motels in the area, some of which are not taking reservations at this time.  I guess they haven't discovered that there's an event going on yet, lucky us.

Motel 6,, the only place to stay during BUB's, "Party Central", :cheers: :cheers:

Tom, I stayed at the PM in 2009.........spacious.  Do they include breakfast?

The reason I ask.........I stayed at the Days Inn (now Best Western) for just under $60 per night and they offer breakfast that is served from 6: AM and they have good ice-machines.  They are quoting $80 per night for this year.

Dennis,
I don't know but I doubt it.  The average price at the PM worked out to about $64 per night, plus their $6 "entertainment tax"!  I've always stayed at the Rainbow and we just went across to MacDonalds and grabbed something to go.  I was hoping we might get some more opinions on the options.

We just booked the week at the Wendover Quality Inn  -  great spot with court yard bar-b-q's , pool and occasional acoustic guitar entertainment .    :cheers:
Now we just have to get the Gray Ghost put back together again.   :-D

Yes Dan - With the extensive slicing & dicing we did to our frame, and our engine configuration - its a shoe in for A/PG   :cheers:

Cils bike like yours won't be seeing too many changes. Just plan on putting on an alky carb and a different set of heads so we can run it in 1350 MP-F this year. Hoping for somewhere between 175-180 mph.
