Thanks everyone,
still just doing post fire maintenence, pushed over about 50 burnt out trees and another 100 or so already down near the house
about 1 in 3 will be gone
can't really begin cleanup till the insurance assessor has been
thought maybe some of the tools can't have been that badly hurt by the heat and i would pick a few up to allow me to do some wheel changing etc on partially burnt machinery
one wrench was part embedded in aluminium i wobbled to loosen.... just bent in my hands... tipped the rest back on the remnants of the shed
also can guarentee piston coatings work, all i have left of my spare motors are crank and rods with gaskets still in place, niccasil liner still there and a disc of ceramic piston coaing inside, all the aluminium is gone , wished i took a pic before trying to move it and the niccasil crumbling

Greg,

I like your stoic outlook,
... as much as the pain will burn deep sometimes a clean slate can bring fresh perspective.
All the best with your future racing plans.

i have been fortunate to have been associated with Greg, Kim and Jim for a number of years in getting our bikes to and from Bonneville and also helping out in the pits, during this time i have gotten to know all the "Black Art Racing" fellas quiet well, and have absolutely no doubt that Greg and the team will bounce back from this setback faster than ever, "Such is their Character",  :-)
