Is there a plan B? If there are not 50 entries maybe the rest of us that did sign up could kick in some extra dough and make it happen anyway. Just a countdown to the 15th thought.

Tom, we are indeed working on a backup plan.  There are a few options available, and we will be looking at all of them.  We are having
a club officers meeting on April 19th and will announce shortly thereafter what the plan is.

P.S.  I don't want to miss out on the nice treat I normally get!.

I was up in Portland doing the swap meet thing, Amazing ! However that's another story , any way I had the chance to chat with Marlo of the 550 team, he said they were planning on making the test /tune ! Great ! however at lunch today I found he has yet to register for the event, If I had known this at the time I would have reminded him that the dead line is , like next week !
 I hope everybody is aware of this !  I hope guys don't think they can arrive and just sign up at the gate !
I'm sure there are lots of people , like Marlo , who are so busy all the time , that they don't have time to think about this. I hope some one on the team reminds him of this , I really want to see the car make a pass even if it is a soft one !  Last I heard we have about 34 entries .

Time for an update. Since the deadline for enough entries to make the test and tune a reality is tomorrow, thought you might like an update.  We are currently at 40 entrants.  However one of the racers has graciously stepped up and offered to pay the remaining $3000.00 to cover the shortfall of the number of entries.
We will still accept entries at the gate,  but now we are assured there is enough money to pay for everything.
