Don, you and Cliff are doing a great job with Scaaty. If you run to problems while out there we can find  help.

We are entered as a Comp Coupe. After checking the rule book I (THINK) we could run in Gas Altered class. It was clear as mud to me. By looking at the pictures of the car can any of you tell me if I am right. I like the record, you know what I'm saying. Any comments??? We are still having fun but the hours are long and the pay is short.  Scaaty  It's all fun  Don

You might find that the top chop is a problem for Altered.

We had a major set back with Scaaty Racing. My partner on the car dropped out. Due to family and time commitments he stepped way. He will be missed greatly. A fine man talented and hard working. I wish him and his family the best.
I am planning on making speed week with the car. It will not have all that was planned finished. Always next year. Hope to get  the car sorted out and licensed up as far as possible. Hooley has offered to help. Land speed racers are the BEST!
My wife is a saint. She will be my pit crew. I have closed my business to finish as much as I can on the car. I guess you could say I an consumed but hey   It's all fun   Back to work     Don

Not good news but I know you'll handle SW with the wife helping along with Hooley and a hundred other forum members.
I bet you'll end up with the biggest, best pit crew in the world.

Have a good one Don.

Mike.

Got some color on Scaaty this morning about 5am. Thought I would get it on before the day heated up. Boy was I wrong. Hot and humid when I walked out the door. But all went well. Not a show quality paint job but I like it. Vinyl guy will come the week to install numbers and lettering. Finish her up this week and head out on the 4th of Aug. I can't wait to get her salty. Still having fun  Don

Wow, looks great, can't wait to see her in person.  Hey if you are leaving on the 4th come this way with Hooley and join us.  It isn't all that much further.  We are planning a barbeque on Tuesday night for us and Karl and his crew from Texas with their lakester and anyone else coming by.

Absolutely awesome Don! I dig the color. Best of luck, I'll be looking for you on the salt. As I said before, I gotta see this beauty in person!
