The Chat Room doesn't cost anything to run - no data count, no fees, nothin'.  I'll run a poll if you'd like to find out if there's interest in something like a "log on to this topic to see if you can schedule a chat time for yourself and your questions" - - or whatever you think it should be called.  I'd probably title it along the lines of "Chat Room at any ol' time"  or such.  It'd be in the Bville General Chat section -- just like this one is, but it'd be freestanding so maybe we'd get it seen by a few more eyeballs.  Whaddaya tink?

I want to see the regularly scheduled Tuesday night or whatever chat room remain for general chat but I think this might be of interest for specific subjects. There are a lot of really sharp minds on this board and I think some of those specific subject chats could be really informative and could stimulate further thinking.

On that note, maybe we could finagle certain folks to give up an hours worth of time to answer specific questions/topics. Off the top of my head I am thinking Burkland, Main, Costella? Aero folks? Nathan taking Qs on management systems. How about fire suppression folks? There should be veterans and experts in many areas we could showcase with a live chat. Since I am into vintage engines I would love to pick the brains of the Dodge Boys and Salt Cat guys. We could have a monthly showcase chat with some racer or industry person and it would help many!

I like that idea of feature chats Trent. The thing I was really thinking of is if you're puzzling over, say your front end, you might call a chat and several of us could get on and brain storm with you to give you some direction. It might speed up the process over the regular posting back and forth.

Quick! Let's chat before the wine takes over. Damn, It's 45 degrees above here in Montana and I can hear the water pouring off of the roof. Can Spring be very far away?

Glen, What are the hours?

It starts at 7:00 Mountain Time and goes for anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour and a half. We never really know ahead of time. The 7 tends to be 7ish!

We had a better turnout last week. Let's try and boost participation again tonight. 7:00 pm Mountain Time.

If you go to the front page of landracing.com you'll see important pages in the upper right hand corner. Chat is the second item. Ignore the warnings on the way in. It just has to do with JAVA and really isn't serious.

We look forward to seeing you.
