Streamliner Bodies

Could someone list the 4 wheel streamliner bodies that are available at this time and who makes them?
I know about the Vesco body but was wondering what else was out there...

I'll wager a guess that they are one off pieces designed and built by the folks building the car (streamliner). If you mean who builds the bodies to the specifacations of the folks building the liner, thats up to the builders to source.

Captthundarr ..That's not what I was asking, I know about Vescos making copies of the 444 liner body and also that Kent Riches at Airtech has some molds for bodies (don't know which ones). What I wondered was if anyone knew of any teams that had molds and did a body now and then..Just thought it might be nice to have a list of proven bodies for anyone thinking about building a streamliner but didn't necessarily have the aerodynamic design skills needed.

Tony Pera has the molds for the original Ohio State electric car, (it went 320+ on a bunch of D cells!) He might be interested in letting you do a body from these molds.

Liners are all about the packaging & the final shape will be relevant to the package. The easiest style to build & most common is a rear wheel drive combo with engine, trans, diff in the back & driver up front.
Individual taste has a big part in the final out come.

And everybody has there own ideas about what is right. The 7800 car is smaller than the Speed Demon. And has a bigger engine. Should be faster, right? But the Demon is very, very fast. Something they are doing works very well. I think I would look at the cars that are doing real well to make my decision about what to build. So far at Bonneville there is still more than one way to skin a cat.

Ya my brother (Bj Burkdoll) and my dad ( Jim Burkdoll) have build many bonneville bodies. And could help with a new one if you need.

yep they do pretty good work... although when we crashed the liner Jim said he didn't bring his glass repair stuff with him to SpeedWeek... (of a shovel to get all the parts picked up)
