Used Car Auction- On The Tenth Floor
« on: November 22, 2013, 11:57:54 AM »
We all have been on the low end of the buyers market. We looked over the weekend newspaper and found some beater for the $300 we could afford.

While we were looking for that rust bucket that might drive us around for a while, we were dreaming of this:
Quote
Sotheby's and RM Auctions have spent some six months organizing "The Art Of The Automobile"— a live auction in Manhattan today at which thirty four cars will be sold for an expected total of over fifty million dollars.

The tenth floor of Sotheby's Upper East Side building had been completely remodeled, repainted, and transformed for the event.

Each car was accompanied by an iPad loaded with specs and that particular example's backstory.

Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.
