plastic fuel line and fire proof covering
« on: March 11, 2023, 01:22:26 PM »
Planning on running my bike with the ETCA in May after a 15 year layoff. They require that plastic fuel lines have "fuel line" clearly marked on the line and that the line be covered with aero/quip fire proof covering. Where can I get the above. All the years I road raced bikes and laydown karts this was never required. Lots of fuel line out there but none marked "fuel Line", also lots of fire proof sleeves but none marked aero/quip. Any help would be appreciated.

Aeroquip is a brand name, Jim: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=AEROQUIP+FIRE+PROOF+SLEEVES

I'm sure others will chime in here for you!

I used the hose from https://www.helixracingproducts.com/tubing-hose and when I built my little sidecar bike a few years ago at least, it did have the print Fuel Hose on it. Not sure if it still does. I ran it inside Aeroquip orange fire shield.
