I was talking to Jack Costella in impound and a friend of his walked over trying to figure out how to pick up 5 mph on his bike and since Jack was busy he and I started talking about gearing. I told him to throw the smallest rear sprocket he had and go from there. Jack finished what what he was doing, turned around and said it perfectly... "Throw as much gear at it as you can ' til it slows down, then just add more horsepower! " The best quote ever!
