Great Granny Sandy, Vetter Velosity
« on: November 02, 2013, 02:08:47 PM »
My husband Chris Vetter, encouraged me to post that we will be going to the AMA Banquet Awards in January to receive my 3 Records, on our 1972 Yamaha 350 2 stroke P/AF , P/CF and P/CG.  He is proud of me in my old age, living my dream.  We are tuning the bike already, for next year.   Sandy

Congratulations on your achievements Sandy !   Like Denis once said - "If you think it's easy, come on out "  Whether its a Triumph Cub or some turbo busa, if you work enough & try hard enough to be the best in your class - That is an achievement to be proud of !     Good for you Granny !
A cliché my mentor has taught me -  "The harder you work - the luckier you get"   :-o

One other thought - it's more then just a dinner Sandy.  :-D

Babs & I along with some of our team will be there, and hope to meet you and get some memorable photos.

Are we havin fun or what !
Jimbo

Thank you Denis - Delvine - Lenea - and all the dedicated BUB volunteers for making this motorcycle only speed event happen ! All you guys & ladies rock !

Note to those of you that might wonder:  I saw the large blank spaces at the end of Sandy's posts and cleaned up that bit.  I didn't change any text whatever -- just the blanks.

Congrats. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend the banquet this year

I just wish the AMA would move the banquet back to Vegas!!  I mean Columbus OH???  :?

Ahhh  come on Dan, -  Columbus ,-   the home of the AMA Hall Of Fame Museum . . . Besides, the Wilmington Ohio Mile Land Speed Event - ECTA Venue.  Have you been there yet ?  Way more apropos to the debauchery of the Vegas idea, " only happens here type."
Been there & done it - Columbus is a way better format... Sorry if its not close enough for some of the Calif . guys.  But it IS - smack dab in da middle of our beautiful country.
Come on out - or quit complaining, Vegas aint happin anymore.

Are we havin fun or what !

See you in Columbus -
