Those solos don't like going straight, the rake & trail is set up to be right when hanging the a$$ out, plus, steering head flex is something speedway riders live with, LSR riders would rather live without it.
Lucky aught to practice going straight, while crossed up.
He's got the guts that man !

Glad he is doing okay.

He was telling me all about his Merlin powered lakester, as I am eying this speedway bike he is about to run thinking to myself "this cat is nuts".

I guess he fit right in though. Ha

glad to hear Luckster is on the mend.  I happened to be in pre stage for my very first time to run on the salt when I saw this gentleman in the air leaving his race bike-which righted itself and seemed to run a quarter of a mile, straight up.  It was a shock for this 75 year old first timer!    Great Granny Sandy, of Vetter Velocity.

Do you know Lucky's bike number ?  Brother Lou is the guy that does a near continuous video taping at the event.  Chances may be good that he might have the video.

Just a wild guess but I saw a Bubs photo of a speedway looking bike #1050.

Maybe?

yes, Luckys bike number was #1050,,

its not photos, we have plenty of those, its actual video footage of the inicedent,, back at Motel 6 that night, or maybe the night after, somewon at one of the many bar-b-ques/parties mentioned that thay had some good video footage,,

he was just about to enter the timed mile on the Mountain course when he and bike parted company due to a sever tank slapper, the bike didnt right itself,, the bike that went for another quarter mile or so, that was a different inicedent,,,,

had the pleasure to do an interview with brother Lou, will follow up to see if he may have something,,

  all,,,
