Hey Rick,

Good to see pics of your car. I didn't get to see you in September at ECTA (don't know if you were there) but here is a motivating thought I came up with for you.

Since we brought our liner and had clutch issues and didn't run,
How about someone brings along a drag racing tree and we bring your liner and mine up to the starting line and mock it up like a drag race and take some pics.....Then we make some runs.....individually. I dont think they will let us run side by side...

Then we see if Mr. Turk will sponsor some Steaks and beers at Damons?
I believe that is the steak joints name......

Just a thought :-D  :-D

There was a pretty white flathead powered streamliner at the SEMA show that was brand new & had White Goose Bar on the side. Guy told me the car hadn't been run yet & was set up to possibly run a second motor later on.

That is Kent Fullers car that is/was crowd sourced on Kickstarter.

Rick,

Thanks for posting the pics of your liner and look forward to seeing it in person and running down the track.
I know it is a quality piece, just like the Merkur.....Only longer!  :-D

See you and the car in Wilmington next Spring!
Gregg

PS
I'm really glad to hear that things are getting a little better for you. One day at a time my Friend.

Rick the car looks great, thanks for sharing the pics with us. Sorry to hear about your son. As a parent myself I couldnt imagine going through that. As Gregg said, take it one day at a time.

My brother is building a streamliner. Main purpose is to go 200 with our Model B flathead one day but maybe shoot for 300 in the future. Interestingly enough, it also will look like a Nafzger car as it was based on some cf body parts that Kent Riches donated to him.  Chassis is mostly done but I think after some hard thinking, the car might get stretched some in the driver area to make for some more room.  Either way, it's a fairly long term project but it might get tested out at El Mirage without a body in the not so distant future.  I'm pretty sure I've posted a pic or two of it before in my "need a shop" thread.

This is not a new streamliner, but it gets the juices flowing for next year. Turn up the sound and close your eyes and it will be August.

I think there will be a new one out of Arizona with Ducati power.

It's a class operation. May be a year or more.

If you happen to buy the latest issue of "Cycle World" right inside the front cover is a two page picture of a very nice motorcycle streamliner, carbon fiber body and it looks like a pair of turbo late model Triumph engines. Nice piece anyone know the details?

Rex, it was at the SEMA show, nice looking liner but not legal in the roll cage area, or SCTA/BNI rules., It is beautiful construction and design.
