Hadn't seen anything new in awhile, that's why I was curious.

Great write up in the Jan. '14 issue of Hot Rod magazine on a bunch of the streamliner guys! Too cool!

I am still in the process of converting the lakester to streamliner.  Lots more work than I expected since the project started with adding suspension to both ends.  It is very conventional with only 4 wheels, none aligned.  If I have to describe, it would be a small scale version of Howard Nofzingers last car.   Life has gotten in the way with my son Jims suicide last October, but I am very slowly recovering, and VOW that we will be testing next spring at Wilmington.  Perhaps with out the body being complete, but I'll be making noise and going down the track.
When I'm able to get properly motivated, lots of details are attended to.
Body will be a mixture of aluminum and composite.
Some specifics
Wheelbase 250 Inches
Front track  22 inches
rear track 25 inches
max width 33 inches
max height 35 inches
I only have a couple of photos worth posting.
On final assembly I'll try to post a thread.
Body design not fully defined yet.  My wind wizzard is good council and in my old age have finally learned to listen.
Rick

There was a pretty white flathead powered streamliner at the SEMA show that was brand new & had White Goose Bar on the side. Guy told me the car hadn't been run yet & was set up to possibly run a second motor later on.
