MONDAY 1/20/14   afternoon   3:00 to 7:30 PM
food 4:00 to 7:00  we are up to 12-15 ( not counting guests who have said they are intend to drop by for Beer and Burgers.  All are welcome; I again want to invite all LSR fans to drop by to see this new LINER which has very high speed potential!!!!!!!!!!

I'm packing for the trip tomorrow to the GNRS.  It's going to get down to about -5F overnight here and tomorrow we've got 3-6" snow forecast.  With that in mind I figure I'd best check with youse guys -- do I need to pack my long underwear and big Sorel snow boots? :?

Slim the weather for so-cal for friday,saturday and sunday will be 75deg during the day and 52deg in the evening. No cold weather gear needed.

Say what you will, but I could not live - nor want to live - someplace where the weather is as boring as "sunny and warm" every day.  I couldn't enjoy living someplace where the only necessary choice in clothing is "what color shorts will I wear today".

I say boring -- because it is.  Where's the fun in every day the same, month in and month out?

I could go on.  Sorry for the rant, because I know (many of) you won't understand my point of view.  At least I know that I'm not the only one out here. :cheers:
