I just called and "Joe of Roto-Faze" had a message on his ph mail, so it looks like he is still in business (although not yet awake :-D )

Joe is still in business and I talked to him regarding making another product. He is interested. BTW he has a complete machine shop and makes a lot of stuff.

I read somewhere that he even will make oddball cam blanks. Don't know if that's true or not.

Joe made me a couple of '32 Plymouth cam blanks and I think he made the Flat Cad cam blanks. Joe is a very cool guy.

I talked to Joe this afternoon and ordered 25 nickle plated 1", .5"/20, 60 degree tapered lugnuts.
Really nice guy as several of you have commented.

Glen, Thanks for the tip!

Why not touch the seats with a 45 Degree countersink? I've done all of mine, we just set the wheels on the mill and just touch the seats. It takes very little to change the angle. You need to be careful not to take too much off.

we are having Al wheels made w/steel inserts.
I don't know that i'd want to mess with the tapered inserts, but i'm not real smart about this stuff,

exactly 14 days after i put a check in the mail, a heavy little box arrived from Joe at Roto-faze with 25 nickle plated 1", 0.5" x 20, 60degree taper lug nuts arrived ($5ea).

i owe Glen a frosty beer for turning me onto Roto-faze

I'd also like to buy a beer for Joe some day because of great customer service
(and 'cause he sounded interesting on the phone)
